Green n' Red Chironomid, Tungsten BH

No chironomid box is complete without some green and red patterns. As larvae move into the pupa stage they are often observed to take on a half green and half red appearance. Each of these styles provides a different take on how that can be imitated.

Holo: Uses red and green holo tinsel for the body and a double wire rib with a black bead and cdc puff for gills.

Classic: Red and olive thread base with a copper rib, copper bead, and cdc puff for gills.
