Copper John meets Pheasant Tail. Taking pieces from both iconic flies we arrived at a combination of two-tone wire, pheasant fibers for the tail, and an epoxy coat over the scud flashback wing case. Tied on a 2x heavy 2x long curved hook in a couple sizes to serve as a general mayfly and small stonefly nymph. The Hot Chocolate color is a must-have!
